Marketing through Facebook

This post will be talking about marketing and driving maximum traffic to your blog/website through social networking resources like - Facebook. And the more people you drive to your website, the more you earn
There are millions of users on Facebook, spending hours daily, chatting looking for new things etc.. A lot of companies these days is using Facebook as a very vital tool for their marketing. And now it is your chance to market your blog through Facebook so that you get maximum traffic.

Fan Pages

Facebook has quite a unique and a useful feature called - Fan Pages. Big companies/websites/famous people everyone has a fan page, a medium to communicate with their fans and also to get more fans. Now, you can use it to promote your blog, to get more people to read what you have posted.

(Left) An example of a Facebook fan page

Making a fan page is easy, all you need to do is join facebook, go the the pages option and clik "Create a fan page".

Groups and fan pages

There is another thing on Facebook called groups. These are almost like fan pages, but in these members of the group can discuss in the forums, write on the group wall etc...

The only disadvantage of having a group instead of a fan page, is that in a fan page, you can post things through the fan page just like your regular Facebook profile, whereas in a group, you will have to send mails to Facebook users, and they will read those mails, but a lot of people don't even open mails from groups, they just delete them.

The advantage is that, to give the members an update, you will have to mail then on Facebook, so now you are quite confident, that they have seen your mail if not read it. That makes them want to check your blog out, whereas in a fan page, the post of the fan page might go down the users' homepage if he gats a lot of other updates from his friends or other fan pages.

Concluding, i would like to say that Facebook is an excellent tool you can use for marketing, so make good use of it.

Cheers, and all the best making money online!

The liars (and how to identify one)

Money making is not easy these days, and there are a lot of people out there, who will want to fool you. They will fool you, and they will make money.
So who are exactly these "liars"? These are websites wanting to make money, by promising to give you an opportunity to make money.

These websites will tell you to pay an application fee or a "one-time cost" and then will never revert back to you. There are a few websites which do, and are honest. But as i said, "few"

So, how do you identify them?

First, if you see a website which has quite a "long" page, and you need to scroll down a lot, then you see the fee, that means, its one of the "liars" of the online money making industry.
Second, if the page contains more than 2 testimonials (as they say), that are liars
Third, if you see a lot of changes in the font colors and size, they are liars.

I will not post any links this time, as i know leave it up to you, so beware! If you see any sites which have the same (or similar) things then forget it, move to another option.

Regards and all the best making money online.
